For delivery of any PRP combination or procedure protocol, MedShift utilizes only FDA cleared sterile proprietary gel to isolate platelets to optimum concentration above baseline. With this PRP system, virtually all Red Blood Cells (RBC) are eliminated from PRP, and the concentration of pro-inflammatory Granulocytes (GRs) is dramatically reduced.

30ml tubes can be spun in the large MedShift centrifuge. Both horizontal and angled centrifuges will work for separation.

PRP is prepared using a small sample of a patient’s own blood which is processed via centrifuge to separate platelets from Platelet-Poor Plasma (PPP), RBC and GRs. Isolated PRP can then be collected and applied to the treatment area. The entire preparation process takes less than 20 minutes.
